The primary purpose of our design work is to take the ideas and design concepts of our clients and help make them real. This begins with creating CAD models (2D or 3D virtual representations of the design), followed by the detailed documentation (drawings) required for manufacture and construction. The examples below showcase the broad range of applications in which we have experience, but we're not limited to these.
Versatility in what we're able to design, along with collaborating with other CAD software is important to us. Unlike other CAD software, IRONCAD is unique in that it uses both ACIS and PARASOLID geometric modelling kernels working in collaboration. This is advantageous as each kernel has its own strengths, weaknesses and peculiarities (which can change with each release).
Likewise, the versatility of BRICSCAD (which uses the ACIS geometric modelling kernel) enables us to collaborate with files from AUTOCAD (*.dwg), MICROSTATION (*.dgn), and BIM software (*.ifc) like REVIT, ARCHICAD, TEKLA, etc.
While we prefer to use our own computer hardware and software (IRONCAD and BRICSCAD), we’re also willing to use the hardware and software of our clients, and have experience using AUTOCAD, MICROSTATION, and SOLIDWORKS.
